Functions of the Department:
- Coordination of Academic Writing Center’s activities
1.1. Providing adapted support programs for academic writing, taking into account the training of specialists, primarily in the field of pedagogy and psychology.
1.2. Development of methods and materials for preparing teachers and students for publication activities and scientific communication in the field of pedagogy, pedagogical education and related disciplines.
1.3. Implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies in the work of the Center to increase motivation and effectiveness of training - Participation in the activities of the Academic Writing Center
2.1. Adaptation of consulting services and trainings to the specifics of pedagogical education and professional activities of teachers.
2.2. Conducting joint events with departments of the pedagogical university on issues of pedagogical assistance, research and publication practice.
2.3. Creation of resources and teaching aids focused on pedagogical science, methodological and practical training of future teachers. - Maintaining the University’s Institutional Repository
3.1. Particular attention to the placement of pedagogical, methodological materials, curricula, practical cases and dissertation research in the field of pedagogy and pedagogical education.
3.2. Creation of conditions for the publication and dissemination of pedagogical innovations, practical cases and pedagogical research of the university region and the country.
3.3. Ensuring the integration of repository materials with educational platforms and resources for pedagogical practice. - Providing information support for research in pedagogy
4.1. Support for searching for information related to innovative pedagogical technologies, teaching methods, education and psychology.
4.2. Specific assistance to teachers in collecting and processing data from professional pedagogical research.
4.3. Creation and updating of a database of pedagogical literature and materials that meet the requirements of pedagogical science. - Training and information support for teachers and students
5.1. Conducting master classes and trainings on the use of pedagogical resources, creating pedagogical public projects, digital educational resources.
5.2. Developing methodological manuals for the preparation of scientific and pedagogical publications, diploma, master’s theses and dissertations on pedagogy and educational psychology. - Interaction with pedagogical universities, schools and professional associations
6.1. Establishing inter-university and inter-regional links for the exchange of pedagogical research and innovations.
6.2. Participating in joint initiative projects, conferences, forums on pedagogical science and practice.
6.3. Support for testing pedagogical innovations and practical developments in school and pre-school institutions.
