Database searches are performed using MyLOFT (short for My Library On Finger Tips), a modern service and mobile application for remote access to educational and scientific electronic resources, electronic libraries, databases, and journals subscribed to by the Library, or which are publicly available and considered reliable and relevant sources of information.
With the Library’s subscription to MyLOFT, this service is available to students, faculty, researchers, and university staff as the follows:
– a web version, which is available on this library website;
– mobile app (Android and iOS) (download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on your smartphone or other device);
– browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Yandex Browser).
MyLOFT’s key features:
- Single sign-on (you don’t need to remember passwords for the various web database platforms the library subscribes to—just log in to MyLOFT);
- Remote access (you can use library resources from home, a café, or on the go, not just from the university network);
- Offline reading (you can save articles and books in the app and read them later without internet access);
- Work tools (you can create collections, add tags, highlight text, and even listen to articles using the Text-to-Speech feature);
- Your single personal account for managing all your searching, saving, reading, and organizing information.
