Subscribing to national and international databases of scientific information provides the academic community of the University with access to relevant and reputable sources of scientific information.
In order to ensure the efficient and productive use of scientific information databases, the library solves the following tasks and conducts the following activities:
- Subscription to databases
- 1.1. Study of the global database market relevant to the information needs of the academic community of the university and providing test access to them
- 1.2. Approval of license agreements
- Popularization and promotion of the database of scientific information at the university
- 2.1. Organization and holding of Awareness Days for institutes and departments
- 2.2. Conducting trainings and consultations on the use of global databases
- Monitoring the use of databases at the university
- 3.1. Participation in the examination of syllabuses of academic disciplines in terms of their information support
- 3.2. Monitoring of the indicator “The share of educational programs that use global digital libraries”
- 3.3. Monitoring of the indicator “The proportion of students using global digital libraries in the educational process”
